Are you looking to quiet a busy mind, release tension, let go of stress and feel deeply restored?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where gentle sounds from crystal and Himalayan bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments wash over you. You don’t have to do anything, and no experience is necessary—just breathe and let the vibrations do the work.
Sound baths:
Provide a tranquil experience, usually between 60 and 90 minutes long
Activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which reduces stress, anxiety and calms the nervous system
Promote deeper sleep and a peaceful mood
Are an ideal addition to a yoga class, workplace wellness program or retreat
I’m a certified, trauma-informed sound practitioner. My approach is gentle. You’ll hear and feel the instruments, but always at a comfortable, calming level designed to support deep relaxation and restoration.

Frequently Asked Sound Bath Questions
-
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing, passive experience where you sit or lie down comfortably while gentle, healing sounds wash over you. Using instruments like crystal and Himalayan bowls, gongs and chimes, Tri Resonance creates a safe, calming space. There is no right or wrong way to do it—you simply breathe, close your eyes and let the acoustic vibrations quiet your mind and bring your body into balance.
-
No experience is necessary, and you do not need to know how to meditate to enjoy and benefit from a sound bath. Many people who find traditional sitting meditation challenging find sound baths much easier to relax into, as the immersive sounds naturally quiet the mind.
-
No. As a trauma-informed practitioner, my approach is always gentle and soothing to your nervous system. I purposefully avoid loud, jarring noises or intense, sudden gong crashes. You will feel and hear the instruments, but always at a comfortable, calming volume designed to support safety, deepen relaxation, and create an environment for true healing.

While both sound baths and meditation promote deep relaxation and inner awareness, they differ in a few key ways:
Passive vs. Active: Traditional meditation often requires focused attention (like watching your breath or repeating a mantra). A sound bath is passive. Simply lie down and receive the vibrations.
Cellular Vibration: The physical frequencies of the instruments interact with your body on a cellular level, effortlessly shifting your brain from an alert state (Beta) into deeply relaxed, creative and dream-like states (Alpha and Theta).
Accessibility: Because the sound does the work for you, it provides an immediate mental shift without requiring intense mental discipline.
-
Vibrational sound therapy (VST) involves singing bowls placed on and around the body. While some sound practitioners will do that during a community sound bath, VST is typically a personal, one-on-one treatment.
During group sound baths, the gongs, bowls and chimes will be placed at the front of the room and sometimes around the room for all to enjoy.
-
To get the most out of your sound bath experience, I recommend the following:
What to bring: A yoga mat and your favorite comfort items, such as a blanket, an eye mask and a small pillow for your head. If lying on a hard floor is uncomfortable, feel free to bring a thicker padded mat or extra cushions.
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers, as room temperatures can fluctuate and your body temperature will drop as you relax.
Food and Hydration: Drink plenty of water before and especially after the session to prevent headaches. Eat lightly beforehand or wait to enjoy a meal until afterward.

Absolutely! I love teaming up with yoga teachers for classes, workshops and retreats. We can customize the experience to fit your needs, whether that means playing live instruments during your active flow, providing a sound meditation during shavasana or offering a dedicated Yoga Nidra and crystal bowl session.
-
Yes! Private group sound baths are a wonderful way to connect and heal together, whether your group is made up of family, friends, neighbors or co-workers.
Group Size: A minimum of 4 guests (plus yourself) is required. The maximum number depends entirely on the size of your venue.
Duration: The sound session lasts about 60–75 minutes, followed by roughly 15 minutes of group discussion and community sharing to deepen the experience.
Customization: You can request a specialized gong bath, as I work with multiple gongs.
Group sound baths can be held at your venue if it will accommodate or we can work with Buka Yoga and you can rent the room for your group for an additional cost.

Sound baths are incredibly effective for corporate wellness programs, team-building days and executive retreats. Because they require zero physical flexibility, athletic ability, or prior mindfulness experience, they are inclusive and accessible to everyone on your team.
A corporate sound bath offers your employees a powerful mental reset by:
Reducing Burnout & Stress: The soothing frequencies actively down-regulate the nervous system, shifting employees out of a high-stress "fight or flight" mode and into a state of deep relaxation.
Boosting Focus & Creativity: By transitioning the brain out of chaotic Beta waves and into Alpha and Theta brainwave states, a sound bath clears mental clutter, clearing the way for fresh insights, heightened focus, and innovative thinking.
Enhancing Team Connection: Our corporate sessions include a 15-minute post-sound discussion. This shared reflection builds community, deepens professional connections, and leaves your team feeling unified, lighter, and renewed.

Yes, I can bring the experience to your office or venue. All that is required is a quiet, comfortable space where your team members have enough room to lie down in a relaxed way.
