Grief & Loss Support - How sessions with Tri Resonance can help.

Grief & Loss Support With Tri Resonance

Grief and loss touches each of us differently—there is no timeline, no “right” way to move through it. Whether you’re navigating the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life transition, or a shift in identity or purpose, you don’t have to do it alone.

At Tri Resonance, I offer gentle, non-clinical grief and loss support through sound healing, Reiki (energy healing), peer support and Yoga Nidra. These practices are not about “fixing” your grief/loss or rushing your healing, but about creating space to feel, rest, and begin to regulate your nervous system—especially when life feels overwhelming. Please take the time to read through this page to learn more. There is also a beautiful testimonial at the bottom of the page from a client!

A Safe Space for Tender Hearts

Please note: I am not a licensed mental health professional. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, compassion, and holistic peer support. I honor your unique process and offer tools to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and energetic balance. These modalities can complement traditional therapy or stand alone as nurturing sessions for anyone seeking relief, rest, and resonance. You can learn more about me on the Meet Phyllis page of this website.

How Sound, Reiki (Energy Healing) and Yoga Nidra Can Support You

Sound Healing

The soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other resonant instruments help release tension and encourage deep rest. Sound gently supports emotional processing, can quiet the mind, and may help you access moments of peace amidst your pain. We will start by testing some of the sounds to see what resonates with you and where you are with your grief/loss journey to be sure we keep you safe and feeling supported. You can learn more about Vibrational Sound Therapy and Sound Baths on their respective pages on this website.

Reiki (Energy Healing)

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) technique that supports your body’s natural healing capacity. It can help restore energetic balance, soothe emotional overwhelm, and offer a quiet space where your spirit can simply be. My clients experiencing grief and/or loss have shared that our Reiki sessions have helped them navigate out of the darkness, allowing them to see light and feel joy again. You can learn more about Reiki on the respective page on this website.

Yoga Nidra (Guided meditation with or without sound)

Also known as “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that invites deep physical, mental, and emotional rest. It offers a space to release without pressure or expectation—just a quiet unfolding back to your center. You can learn more about Yoga Nidra on the respective page on this website

Customized with Care

Every journey is deeply personal, and so are the sessions I offer. Whether you’re feeling raw, numb, anxious, depressed, finding it hard to breathe due to the loss, or simply exhausted, I meet you exactly where you are. Each session is intuitively tailored to your needs in the moment—whether that means more grounding sound work, gentle energy healing, or guided rest through Yoga Nidra. We’ll check in before we begin, and I’ll create a supportive space that honors your emotional state, energy level, and comfort. This is your time to be held, without judgment or expectation.

Why we recommend a minimum of 90-minutes for your sessions:

We recommend a 90-minute session for all clients, especially for grief/loss support. This allows time to discuss your needs and fully immerse yourself in deep relaxation. Most people take 20–30 minutes to unwind once they’re on the treatment table, making this the ideal starting point for a more effective and transformative experience. Each session includes mindfulness coaching, optional aromatherapy, a grounding practice, and a post-session reflection to ensure your experience aligns with your goals. Our priority is creating a personalized and supportive space for your healing journey.

You Are Not Alone

Grief and loss can be isolating. My intention is to hold compassionate space for your journey, whether you’re seeking a moment of calm, emotional release, or simply to feel heard and supported. You’re welcome just as you are—messy, tender, tired, angry, numb, all of it.

If you feel drawn to explore how sessions with Tri Resonance might support your grieving process, I invite you to book a session. We can also do a free introductory phone call to discuss your journey and how we can best work together. Feel free to email me at TriResonance@gmail.com to schedule the call or click below to book your session.

Client Testimonial

“Tri Resonance with sound therapy and Reiki became a deeply meaningful part of my healing journey after the loss of my mom, and then my brother. While traditional therapy helped me process my grief intellectually, I found myself feeling disconnected from my body and emotions. Working with Phyllis helped me bridge that gap—her sessions gave me a space to reconnect with both the pain and the joy I was carrying inside. I’ve experienced loss before and relied solely on talk therapy, but this time, integrating body-based healing made all the difference. Now that the intensity of my grief has softened, I continue to work with Phyllis as a way to stay grounded, connected, and in tune with my body and soul.” JA LS

You’re Worth it!

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.”
